Have you actually tried disabling the auto start/stop feature? Clearly not because that menu option only disables it until you turn the car off and back on. But so does the button on the main screen. I've got a 2024 Outback and I absolutely hate this. Only way to truly disable this is with a plug in accessory for the dual camera on the windshield.
