OK, though that combination hasn't been particularly wonderful in the Crosstrek hybrid. Maybe it will be really spiffy in the Forester, but as an afterthought to the overall vehicle design, you gotta wonder. That battery adds weight probably where you don't want it (higher up in the car, unlike with "skateboard" designs), not to mention complexity added to the powertrain. Might be worth waiting an extra year for, but I'll spring for plain vanilla ICE in the spring, there being no zippy 2.4 turbo in the cards. Life is hard.
