600 miles ago my daiky driver 99 Tacoma needed new tires as winter was finally arriving in southwest WY. Over the past 17 years of living here I have tried all the popular ATs except Falken. I have nothing good to say about anything from Goodyear and General. Toyo is decent as is Cooper. To date the only tire I have repeated is the BFG KO2 on my 2013 4runner because it does everything really well and lasts about 60k miles. I went to my local tire shop and asked for Wildpeak AT3Ws, the owner replied with, I know you, I know what you're going to dontonthese tures and the conditions you'll do it in. The Wildpeaks are good, but you'll be happier with the Falken Rubitrek and as a bonus you'll save a couple hundred out the door. Now that i have been through 2 snow storms, a couple melts that made it muddy and now we have a 8+ inches on the ground and ice everywhere I can say they are awesome. The most traction this 4500lb truck with no anti-lock brakes and a supercharger has ever had.
