This is my first year with an Outback. I switched tires to Nokian WR-G4 SUV in the fall and with today's blizzard, I got to test them out for the first time. I am completely satisfied. We had 9 inches of snow and I had no problem getting through. WR-G4s are 3PMSF rated all-weather tires. I found them just as quiet as the Avid GT OEM tires that came with the car. They've passed both tests for keeping them on all year.
