Depends on the battery chemistry and what the purpose of the battery is.
The LFP battery is considered the million mile battery, and it achieved that benchmark multiple times in lab tests over the years. Its life expectancy is 25 years.
That battery can be found in the model S, X and performance 3 and Y.
The 4680 used in the Texas built Y and Cybertruck is benchmarked for 40 year lifespan.
