Hi Denis,
Thank you for writing this car safety review article. I wish I had this information last year when I was in the process of purchasing a pickup truck. I ended up getting a used 2022 Dodge Ram1500 BigHorn which was a big disappointment. Very impressive looking and ride felt smooth, however the safety factor was lacking. It has dim headlights making night time driving unsafe, the audio and navigation system has manufacture problems, sluggish gear shifting from 2wheel to 4wheel drive, and I hated the new gear shift round dial which used to be a stick lever in the older models.
While driving on an icy road in western Massachusetts this past winter season, my truck's brakes locked causing it to spin out of control, then slammed & bounced against the highway guard rails numerous times. It was totaled by my insurance company due to the truck's extensive body damage & some engine damage. It was a blessing in disguise because I don't have that vehicle anymore!
I now drive a 2024 Subaru Outback which is on your list of Safe/Reliable cars. Thank you.
