I see lots of focus on DIE initiatives described above, which are very political and highly divisive. Why not support *everyone*? Help is great. Exclusion based on race, sex, gender ideas, etc is racist and sexist by definition.

Look at Riley Gaines and JK Rowling who speak for traditional feminists. Why take a side where biological men beat up women (in Olympic volleyball and boxing, for instance.) Or take Ford and Harley-Davidson. They backed down from Diversity-Inclusion-Equity because they literally didn't want to die over a political issue.
I'd love to tell my friends that Subaru also cares and loves everyone and isn't going to kill it's brand over something quite divisive. I want to buy a Subie in the next year. But pity to get a great car and then find support and maintenance problems because the car company alienated a lot of folks and must cost cut everywhere to compensate.
