This is interesting news, for sure. But from what I've seen and read, the 2025 model-year Outback will be a carryover from the current model. While the historical redesign cycle would tell us 2025 should be all-new, I believe it's the engineering for a hybrid model might be the reason to push the new models until 2026. It's possible to configure a 2025 Outback on Subaru's website now, and we would have likely seen a redesigned model unveiled at one of the larger auto shows this past year.
