I think a lot of informed buyers are waiting for the hybrid. It's a shame it wasn't released with the new body, especially now with so many EVs and hybrids already on the market. The new Forester seems like a great redesign (I went and checked one out at a dealer recently), but the lack of hybrid on launch day makes this feel very late to the game.
