We have a 2016 basic outback and a 2024 onyx xt. The differences between the 16 and the 24 in driving them are very noticeable. I much prefer the safety features and improvement in ride quality of the 24. The infotainment system has noticeably improved but sometimes operates kind of iffy and is not perfect by any means. We might replace the 16 with a 26 however my wife is leaning towards replacing it with a Lexus.
