I am someone looking to get an Ascent. I retired and gave my Expedition to my son. I want AWD or 4Wd and a reasonable ground clearance. All large SUV's have priced out too high. Most mid sized SUV's have gotten too high also. Ascent still is priced low enough with good features- mileage, size, power enough to pass on the highway. Don't care at all about carbon footprint. No interest in a high price electro version.
