As an owner of a 2017 Subaru Forester, I will add another reason. There are those of us with aging Subaru products that won't be buying Subaru again.

The company cheaped out with many components parts in the air conditioning system and on the brush arms. The quality of the interior plastic and fabric is obscenely poor.

So, I would suggest that customers may be heading to other brands.
