I am making a decision between Toyota and Subaru. The Toyota dealership has a new year deal taking 4k off, plus a lifetime drive-train warranty. I did not like the RAV4 and will be test driving the Corolla Cross tomorrow.
I test drived the CrossTrek, Forester, and Outback. I felt connected to the car compared to the RAV4. I work in the educational automotive business. One instructor has a buddy that works for Subaru, who is constantly replacing their CVT's. A mechanic that I know who works for Subaru says that is right, that is what she primarily does. The sales person is only selling the 36,000 or 6 yrs warranty. If you want the 125k extended warranty, it is additional 2k. That is a draw back to Toyota that has better warranties.
So I am trying to decide between practicality and dream.
