My 2023 trd pro is in the shop for a short block rebuild because the motor went the same way all the others are going. I am in Canada and Toyota Canada is really running away from this problem. I was lucky to have a rental paid for but they told me I do not qualify for a new crate engine because the hybrids are not on the recall. I may mention that in Canada TRD Pro has a price tag of over 100k. Now I’m stuck with this truck that is worth maybe 50k and just a year old.
