I have a 2022 SR5 4x4 I purchased new and have not had any major problems so far, although my truck is starting to have a rough idle. When all this started I said then Toyota should offer every affected owner a generous buy back or trade in deal. Just make the owners happy and get these trucks off the road. No matter what, even with a new crate motor installed, the value will be greatly diminished. At this point the decision has been made to replace the motors affected by the recall. At the minimum, Toyota should extend or offer full 3+ year warranty on all replacement motors and affected components. Last thing I would like to see Toyota do is communicate better with their dealerships. The service team @ Hendrick Toyota, Concord has always been very good to work with and gives exceptional service but they are also in the dark when it comes to a timeline to replace motors.
