I have a 2013 BRZ. Engine failed at 64k miles.

Because I was out of warranty, I replaced the motor myself.

When I was picking up a new 2016 STI, I mentioned it to the dealer. They told me, "You should have come to us, as we may have been able to cover it"

Ugh!
