I have a 2016 BRZ. The engine blew on mine with only 101,000. I called Subrau of America to see if they would stand behind their engine. After several frustrating calls, I gave up. My mechanic worked for Subrau for years and broke the blown engine down once he got it out. The valve spring broke and shot the piston all the way through the block and through the oil pan. I called Subrau of America back and their only response was my 2016 was NOT part of the valve spring recall. I really hope a class action suit happens because I am out almost $10,000.
