What people are praising…
What people are praising Tesla for, is a mandatory operating practice for any supplier. It's due diligence. I don't think they deserve a pat on the back for that.
With that being said, I seen the first Cybertruck on the roads of my city yesterday. It has to be the ugliest truck I've ever seen. The back end looks horrible and so do the mirrors. The entire truck looks cheaply made. For over $100,000, I don't know who would be gullible enough to buy that. I have a Chevy Silverado 2500 LTZ. It costs me a little over half the Cybertruck total cost, has significantly more features, doubles the drive range on a single tank, actually looks good, and plus I don't have to waste my time sitting around waiting for my truck to charge, or spend ridiculous amounts of money to get a charger installed. With all the added costs on a Tesla, I could probably drive my gas vehicle for 10 years and it would still be cheaper than a Tesla, and that's not including the fact the Tesla battery will eventually fail on you.
