We bought our Forrester brand new in 2020. Our transmission went out at 78k miles, I was quoted 10k to repair it. I fought with Subaru for nearly a month and finally got them to lower the price to $7500. We repaired it and promptly traded it in. Was highly disappointed, the CVT transmission has gone through multiple recalls and supposedly been fixed, clearly not.
