Your family business must have had a great reputation in your town!
If I bought a new Chevy pickup and the engine failed under 600 miles it was defective from the factory and should be replaced.
Giving a 75k warranty is the least a dealership should offer.
I used to buy Chevrolet starting with my 69 SS Camaro.
A close friend bought a new Chevy pickup and the transmission failed in 400 miles.
The dealership in Eugene, Oregon ran him around so bad that I never bought another Chevy!
I drive a Toyota 4Runner .
