I haven’t found that to be true in Colorado. When I filed a complaint in the past, the BBB contacted the business and helped me. However, I recommend you go through your governor’s office or the regulatory agencies for better results. I had an insurance company drop me because they said I did not pay my premium. I contacted the insurance regulators in my state and not only did the insurance company reinstate my policy but I also got a letter of apology from a high level company executive. I was very impressed!
