Patrick is a typical ice…
Patrick is a typical ice owner not truly knowing an ev from driving them as daily drivers. His perspective is flawed. I am a product of hot rodding in the 60s. Never a brand guy, always like my dad high horsepower, fast and loud. Learned early on building fast cars. Bought a 57 Chevy at 15 worked a Trenton Speed shop in NJ cleaning tools. The shop foreman did a new technique on my 283 block, shaving it not the heads, installed fuel injected domed piston, manifried injection, full race Duntoff cam, 411 rear. Couldn't get license until 17 but drove at the track every weekend. During the years had very fast street cars. Fast forward to 2021 in my 70s wanted a year round muscle ev AWD and fast. Bought a 2021 mach e GTPE and my life was utterly spectacularly changed for ever. 480hp 634 torque 0 to 60 3.5 seconds and no one has beaten me in a 500ft red lite to red lite hear in Buler County PA on race the lite. Brutal off the line torque, quite, no tire squeal, gone.
1 pedal Regan is simular to my wife's model y. PERFECTLY balanced. Magnaride suspension sport seats brembo brakes 17 rotors blend into a perfect muscle ev. The new 2025 mach boasts 700 ft lb of torque which is even more explosive off the line. Cost $59990. My daughters love of muscle was inherited after college bought a new 2012 challenger SRT 8 392 in blue streak pearl metallic with silver stripe from Landmark Dodge in AL. This gem is the perfect muscle car with the 6.4 hemi dynamite design and color is a hit at mopars at Carlsile PA ever year we go. I always tell friends to test drive several ev as a tesla doesn't have a lot of buttons as tgge GTPE has them all including excellent voice commands like the tesla. Both are fast, comfortable and each a different experience. But both are fun to drive fast. Standard AWD tesla y has 375hp and 405 torque making it run 4.5 to 60 exactly the same as the 392. Lastly, the best part of ev muscle is cruising at 75 mph turning on my Best of Queen volume 6 hearing every sound perfectly. I would highly recommend driving a 392 over the hellcat, mach e GT and Tesla performance models. Each different but all exciting even for me at 76. Life is full of changes and most few are as glorious as us muscle heads.
