As an employee of a Toyota dealership I can tell you this complaint is rubbish. The Nav or Remote Start will not work if you do not download the app for free and opt into data consent. Toyota makes it very clear what trial subscriptions the vehicle comes with and what the terms are for each service. Simply use your Nav with Apple Carplay for free and stop your complaining.
