Welcome to the club… Imagine how mad were people who bought 2018 - 2019 Lexuses only to discover that Toyota was using 3g modules and when couple years later it was phased out your premium vehicle lost all connectivity and not an option to upgrade!
Their new gen of management should go to hell.
