We bought a low mileage 18 Sierra after my father in law ended up with so much negative equity that we needed to trade in our personal car (a 22 Silverado)
The transmission began to shutter 9 months after we bought it. My mechanic tried to find parts or a complete unit for over 5 weeks. Finally, just before it failed, we traded it in on a Nissan Rogue. The next person to buy it brought it back to the dealer i was told.
