I've done a similar trip in a F150 Lightning standard range truck from South Carolina to Niagara Falls Canada. I had to stop every 1.5 hours to charge. I actually found this nice I didn't get as wore out from the drive because I wasn't getting wore out from driving for long distances. It's true that for long trips u will pay slightly more to charge than for gas, but if your charging at home for all ur normal commuting you will be only paid from 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost of gas. That's the cost benefits plus virtually not maintenance cost compared to a ICE vehicle. Besides the charging infrastructure lacking this truck is definitely superior to my previous F150's.
