I read a lot about EV range and charging, about 0-60 times, about advanced ADAS systems and infotainment software. What gets lost in all that is "What does it feel like to drive?"
Lucid's CEO did work at Tesla, but more significantly, before that he was chief engineer at Lotus, designing his own roadster/racer kit car, and head of advanced research at Jaguar. Lucid's VP of design first designed the ND MX-5 Miata. An aerodynamicist from Red Bull's F1 team did the cars aero features. Lucid's headquarters parking lot is full of BMW & Porsche. It's car guys all the way down.
