Had my 22 Tundra for about 8 months or so with constant issues. Window rattles, driver seat panel failure, engine lag, front alignment issues etc. After several trips to the Gulf Coast dealer, reporting my issues and concerns to the sales manager, service manager, and the general manager my gas line gave out. I woke up to a puddle of gasoline in my driveway. It sat at the dealership for almost 3 months. I will give credit where it’s due. I was provided a loaner vehicle for the duration. But with a temporary solution to a possibly devastating issue. I felt the need to trade up. The truck was literally a fire hazard on wheels and the dealer solution… we’ll put you in a new tundra. The only issue is I was 35k in the hole. My only option was to grovel. I had already tried going through the dealership chain of command all the way to Toyota corporate. After owning 6 different Toyota vehicles, we’ve decided to part ways completely with Toyota. I couldn’t be happier in my 24 Silverado. Other than the difficulties I had to go through and the money lost having to cover what I owed on the tundra.
