Um, no. Everyone was dunking on these dumb looking trucks from the moment the design was revealed. The running joke was that it looked like they were rendered on a Playstation 1. It's not like they were hailed as revolutionary and then suddenly people turned on them because Musk is a fascist. We already knew that.
