Toyota dealerships are crooks, never listen to them! They will set you up to fail so you can by a new vehicle from them
again soon. They tricked me into 10,000 mile changes for the first 30,000 miles of my truck. Supposed to be every 5k! No longer trust them. Now I’m DIY all the way, every 3,000 miles for my 2020 Tundra, and I use 0w-20 Royal Purple with K&N performance filter, plus a bottle of engine flush detergent to rinse out the deposits before each oil change.
