I'm 70 years old and have owned a lot of cars. Vans, pick ups, sedans. I change my oil every 3000 to 4000 miles. Most of my autos have gone well over 150,000 miles. When I sold them the engines were in great condition. Oil is the life blood of your car. I have never believed the car makers. After all they want you to buy a new one after a few years.
