Same with Chevy when I bought a brand new 2016 Colorado Duramax. When it was under warranty and GM was paying for the oil changes it was 7500 miles recommendation but as soon as 30k warranty was up and I was on the hook they recommended oil change every 5000 miles. Then I had to sell the truck at 179000 miles because of all the issues it had, bunch of scum bags, will never buy new again. They sure don't make a million mile motor anymore.
