I have a 2022 honda Crv hybrid. Bought it brand new. I do a lot of driving, doing gig work. I change my own oil with full synthetic every time the maintenance comes on and oil at 5%. I currently have almost 100k miles and the car runs like it was brand new and getting over 42mpg. So yeah, changing oil earlier than recommended is a waste of money that can be used to buy gas.
