I follow two ex master Toyota mechanics on YouTube who say if you want your engine to last past 100,000 miles you should change your oil every 5,000 miles not 10,000. One even showed the damage done to an engine that was on a 10,000 mile oil change maintenance. Even my Toyota service manager changes his oil every 5 000.
