A false equivalence comparison in a couple of places here. Heated seats don't receive updates, remote control services, unless routed through a third party cellular network, doesn't have ongoing costs. Blue Cruise, FSD, Super Cruise, etc are constantly being updated with real world road conditions.
Regardless of your opinion of the price of the subscription, there's ongoing value being added to this service through data updates and improvements. This continual updating justifies the subscription model, just not necessarily the size of the monthly fee.
