You cite the number of accidents and citations per driver. Interestingly, the crashes per miles driven tells a completely different story. It's one crash in almost 6 million miles with their autopilot technology and just a little over 1 million miles without autopilot. The national average is one crash in 702, 000 miles. If there are a few crazy Tesla drivers they must be getting a lot of speeding tickets but are not affecting the safety of these amazing vehicles.
