The Toyota tech did the right thing. Drain the diesel FILL with gasoline. Cycle the ignition about 10 times for about 8 seconds each. Then it may take about two-three times cranking to start. Done deal! Anyone tries telling you anything more and they are ripping you off. You must get all the diesel out of the tank and the tea cup or two in the lines won't hurt a thing. However if much is left in the tank it is hard on the catalytic converter.
