OK? Its not markup.. you found a used one or a non oem one.. the $1600 covers parts and labor. Led headlights are expensive. Also having just had your windshield replaced is unrelated. That is typically under a glass coverage.

Im with OP on DIY but this post sounds whiney. This is a very easy part to replace yourself.. nothing special here.
