Mopar to Sell Custom Package for the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO - Not quite the TRX but Great Performance Numbers
Mopar’s customized 2025 Ram 1500 RHO that debuted at last November’s SEMA Show was so well-received that the company is going to build it. Ram says its new Mopar ‘25 Ram 1500 RHO will push the limits on nearly any terrain. Every year for the last 16 years, Mopar has done a special custom package that can be ordered straight from the factory. The personalization packages are extremely popular because the buyer can build the costs of the upgrades into the overall price and spread them over the length of the loan. Plus, the upgrades are covered by the factory warranty and typically aftermarket work isn’t covered under warranty.
“The inspiration for the new Mopar ’25 flows directly from the concept truck we showed at the SEMA Show last November, which generated strong positive feedback on how well the Ram 1500 RHO was ‘Moparized’ by our design team,” said Darren Bradshaw, senior vice president, Stellantis parts and services – North America. “We’re proud to continue our annual Mopar customization program with innovations and exclusive appearance features that our enthusiast customers and collectors crave.”
The Exclusive Mopar ’25 Package for the Ram 1500 RHO
As I wrote last October, the Mopar ’25 package tricked out the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO to operate on any terrain. “High-impact exterior graphic themes are huge this year for all truck brands, but Mopar is having extra fun personalizing the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. The RHO Inline 6 engine is replacing the popular HEMI so Mopar has decided to go bold to highlight the new higher-horsepower model.”
The custom Mopar Blue and Grey bodyside graphics provide a bold contrast to the Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat exterior color. Detailed within the graphics is a graduated repeat pattern of the Mopar Omega M logo.
Mopar has downsized the tires to a massive 35” and kept many of the interior and exterior details visible on the SEMA Show model. The Mopar package showcases the widest fender flares in the current production Ram 1500 lineup. Mopar exterior accessories include a fully integrated, bed-mounted spare-tire carrier, RamBar accessory bar, off-road style running boards and Mopar Blue tow hooks front and rear. The truck-bed surface is protected by a black, Mopar spray-in textured bedliner.
The new, more powerful 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output Straight Six Turbo engine is still the star of the Mopar ’25 package.
- 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque
- 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds
- 0-100 mph in 11.7 seconds
- Quarter mile in 13.1 seconds at 105 mph
- Top speed of 118 mph
The interior contains several upgrades as well. An instrument panel accessory rail holds various mobile devices securely in place. A custom Mopar Blue serialized badge is attached to the center console. The Ram 1500 has the largest reconfigurable touchscreen in its class with a 14.5-inch display. It also has a class-exclusive 10.25-inch passenger screen, so the passenger can help with navigation, camera management or watch infotainment during the drive. The truck also has 12-way power leather front seats with a new massage function and embroidered logos. The custom black Nappa leather-wrapped front and rear seats feature Mopar Blue accents and suede inner bolsters.
Mopar ’25 Ram 1500 RHO Designed for Off Road
The Mopar Ram Rho’s ground clearance of 11.8 inches is thanks to a two-inch ride height increase when compared with the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup, along with 35-inch tires. This combination enables the RHO to clear surface obstacles easily and at high speeds. Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks use rigid aluminum to reduce and dissipate heat and continuously adjust damping for optimal control.
Exclusive Mopar Personalization Kits
Each buyer will receive a Mopar ’25 owner kit that features a personalized certificate of authenticity with serialized vehicle-build number, a special rendering of the vehicle by the Mopar design team and more. Buyers also receive an 83-piece tool kit and a USB cable kit featuring four charging cables for a variety of mobile phones. The special Mopar ’25 Custom package is only available for the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO.
Ram will only build 250 of the special edition Mopar ’25 Ram 1500 RHOs. Ram will sell 225 of the Rams in the U.S and 25 in Canada.
The U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the exclusive Mopar ’25 Package is $6,500. The Mopar ‘25 Ram 1500 RHO is expected to arrive in select Ram dealerships beginning this spring
