If you can't charge at home or at work, don't get an electric car.

We have driven electric cars since 2011 and have always been able to charge at home. We have had two since 2013. We currently have two Teslas, a 2019 Model 3 and a 2021 Model Y, both bought used. The 3 always charges at home. The Y has charged at home about 90% of the time. We bought the 3 from a friend last year who bought it new. He charged it at home plugged into a regular 120 volt outlet. If your typical day is a commute of under 50 miles round trip, you can charge on 120.
