I think it's the concrete operational stage where children of seven are supposed to realize that not everyone in the world is like them. It sounds like she's trying to generalize her personal experience over 4 months to everyone over their entire lifetimes.
My experience was different. There was a 240 volt plug in my garage and I spent $35 to get a cord to plug my included charger into the wall.
I would agree with her that during this 4-month a Tesla is not right for her.
I suppose I would like to thank her for reminding me why I'm not on tiktok.
