Everybody knows this, and if they don't, they probably should just stick with Uber and Lyft.

Also, some vehicles throw a code and illuminate the Check Engine Light when a critical light bulb is burnt out. You can read the code by plugging a code reader into the USB port. AutoZone will do this for free.

BTW: if you're going to replace a brake light or turn signal bulb, you might as well replace both of them since the other bulb is probably nearing the end of its life expectancy. There is a reason they are sold in packs of two.
