except your wrong, a blown filament bulb will increase the time a typical heater flasher works, with less current the heater has less heat and the bimetallic switch is slower and therefore the time between clicks is less. on newer led lights the computer will sense the led is out and can inform the driver with a faster beep. or a light out indicator on the dash.
