It could have been worse. He could have bought another Toyota - the brand he seems to dearly love. Say he bought a 2022 Tundra instead. He could have had to replace or rebuild the whole engine. That particular problem makes Chevy's nagging problems here look pretty insignificant. Many Tundra owners are out of commission for months.
