There is one other remedy that could have been used on the spot. Just ask the offending people their names and Toyota employee number for your formal complaint to Toyota of America for the violation by the dealership of the warranty. Toyota will take these violations up directly with the OWNER of the dealership. It should result with a couple of dishonest employees looking for work at McDonald's.
