Dealership employees don't work for toyota,the dealership i privately owned.they didn't make you pay for anything,they simply stated that if the repair wasn't covered under the warranty you would be responsible.for instance if you physically damaged the vehicle it would not be covered,if you then said we'll im not paying for it the dealer would still have to pay the tech for diagnosis.
