I purchased a 2019 model in January of the same year. About a month in I noticed a hard, abrupt shift taking place with increasing frequency. This primarily occurred (but not exclusively) at interstate speeds, especially as the vehicle changed gears while moving uphill. I took it to a local dealer and was told the manufacturer filled the transmission with the wrong fluid. They replaced it with a synthetic fluid, and after 100 miles, give or take, shifting was much smoother. Unfortunately, this only lasts for about 20,000 miles, at which time the abrupt shifting returns. As a result I take my Colorado to a nearby service/ repair shop to replace the transmission fluid (and it isn't cheap). I do a lot of driving, and the truck currently sits at 175,000 miles. I am holding my breath, hoping the transmission doesn't fail. Other than this I have had no additional issues. It is a great product, but Chevrolet needs to eliminate the hiccups.
