The most important question to ask is: what is the watts per mile (Wh/mi) consumption?

In my Model Y, I typically get around 220 Wh/mi on a good day, which gives me a range of about 340 miles. However, with a lot of freeway driving, it increases to around 270 Wh/mi, which results in a 277-mile range.

My overall average is 245 Wh/mi.

You can check your energy consumption in the car’s display to see what’s affecting your range more than usual.

Also, keeping the car clean can improve your range by 5-10% due to reduced aerodynamic drag.
