I recently had the new Outback for a week as an owner loaner and have to agree. I hated the touchscreen! It was actually a distraction from driving. My current vehicle is a 2019 Ascent. I love it, best of both worlds. Screen for phone and music, dials for climate and fans. Wonderful!
