Just read the article some gal said she didn’t like the touchscreen. Unlike her - I love it!!! Easy to read, great backup camera, easy to use even for a 72 year old technology dinosaur. I can play music from my iPhone playlist avoiding monthly subscription costs to music. Lots of radio stations can be saved too!! It is not distracting in the slightest! (You can just leave it in the main menu screen which only has menu Icons. Nothing moving to distract a driver.)
Also great for directions (linked from my phone if I want) via Google Maps. Every turn is read out audibly, plus the map if I want to look. And I do not find it slow or not responsive in the slightest. I get instant information. And I live in the boonies where Internet is spotty or nonexistent at times. My Screen and directions never go dark….My last vehicle was a 2010 SUV, so my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek was a big move for me with many new features. And I love everything about my car!!! After a year and a half of ownership, I would highly recommend the Subaru Crosstrek.
Note: I am a relatively short female….and I don’t usually write reviews….
